Hillary Kim attends California High School as a Senior. She began her musical journey as a singer at the age of six and started studying the art of opera at the age of nine, under the guidance of her teacher, Jennie Yukyung Byun. Hillary is the first-prize winner of the 2021 Grand Prize Virtuoso International Competition in London, the 2021 KPU International Music Festival in Canada, the 2020 San Francisco International Music Innovative Competition, and the 2021 Contra Costa Performing Arts Society. She won the top prizes in various competitions including the 2020 and 2019 U.S. International Music Competition Young Artist Award, MTAC Foundation Award, and many more. She was also invited to perform virtually at the Junior Bach Special Honors Concert last year.
