Anthony Lee (Flutist)

Founding Member

Member from 2015 - 2020

Anthony Lee is a Dougherty Valley High School alumni. He has been playing flute for 7 years. He has participated in numerous competitions, including the Chinese Music Teacher Association of Northern California International Youth Music Competition, winning 1st place in his division, as well as the United States Open Music Competition, winning 2nd place in 2016 and 1st place in 2017. He was chosen as a recitalist with the Fremont Symphony Orchestra in 2017. He received 2nd place in the American Protege competition of romantic music. He also won first place in the Classics Alive Artists competition in 2016, as well as the American Fine Arts Festival competition of romantic music, performing at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.  He completed the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons of the Peninsula Young Artists Orchestra and is currently a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has appeared at the 2016 Prague Orchestra Festival in Dvorak Hall, the Vienna Concert at MuTH Hall, and the Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival in Davies Symphony Hall.
