Nina Sun (Flutist)

Nina Sun is a Dougherty Valley High School alumni. Beginning with the flute at 9 years old, she has been playing for 6 years. During this time, she has attended the All-Northern California Honor Band three times, in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and All-State Honor Band once, in 2016. As an active member of her school's musical community, she was a part of Dougherty Valley’s Wind Ensemble for both her sophomore and junior years. Along with such, she continued her involvement and furthered her musical career in the following years, both inside and outside of school.
