Evan Cho (Oboist)

Evan is a Dougherty Valley High School alumni and he has been playing the oboe for 8 years. While the oboe is his primary instrument, he also enjoys playing the piano and the ukulele. Evan was the recipient of the Cazadero Scholarship Award and has been actively involved with his school band over the years. He was the first oboist with the Berkeley Youth Orchestra and with Young People's Symphony Orchestra and has been invited to play at various community and church events. He has also privately taught the oboe to young children during his spare time to introduce this less-known instrument to budding musicians and hopefully inspire them to love and cherish music as much as he does. He lastly joined a vibrant group of musicians as a member of his school's Wind Ensemble to finish his high school musical career on a strong "note".
