Euisun Hong (Violinist)

Euisun Hong, 15, is a Sophomore at Amador Valley High School. He began violin at the age of 6 and is currently studying in the Pre-College Division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Davis Law. In 2023, Euisun placed 1st in the KAMSA competition and was the runner-up of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra concerto competition, which he has been a part of since 2022. This summer, he was accepted into the programs NYO2, Bowdoin, and Encore Music Festival. Euisun was also the concertmaster of the CODA Junior High All-State String Orchestra in 2022. He looks forward to playing and sharing music with various audiences, building a warmer community with each performance.
